Got questions about starting your martial arts journey or what to expect at Kung Fu House?
You'll find answers to the most common queries here to help you get started with confidence.
The most important question of all, WHY CHOOSE US?
Choosing a school is about more than just finding a place to train; it’s about finding a place where you can grow. At Kung Fu House Jaipur, we have made a space where you can live the art.
Here is why our school is the right home for your journey,
We believe that Kung Fu without Chi Kung is incomplete. We teach you to harmonize your physical strength with your internal energy (Chi). By training both, you work on building muscle memory and hone your reflexes. You become a more balanced human being.
We aren’t a cold, commercial studio. We are a living Kung Fu community.
Living Together: With dedicated, separate accommodations for guys and girls on a triple-sharing basis, you’ll build bonds with fellow students that last a lifetime.
Our Food Practices: Our communal areas are designed for shared meals and deep conversations, ensuring you feel safe, in both common and personal space.
You can't train like a warrior if food is not up to the mark
Fresh Food: Our in-house kitchen prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily to keep your energy levels peaking.
The Balcony: Our plant-filled balcony is the heart of the house—a peaceful sanctuary to breathe, meditate, or chat after a high-intensity session.
We love our city, and we want you to love it too. Beyond the training , we act as your local guides. Whether you want to explore the hidden gems of the Pink City or need help navigating the local culture, we’ve got your back. Our heritage city offers a lot of attractions. The 'to do' list for Jaipur can be really big. We have a busy schedule here at the Kung Fu House but, the pink city has got its own charms.

Other Important Questions
Do I need any experience?
Absolutely not! Our students begin with little to no prior martial arts experience. Our instructors are highly skilled at teaching beginners, focusing on foundational techniques, proper form, and gradual progression. We believe that a willingness to learn and a desire for self-improvement are the only prerequisites you need to get started.
Am I too old/out of shape to start?
Definitely not! At Kung Fu House, we welcome adults of all ages and fitness levels. We focus on improving your strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina gradually, allowing you to build fitness at your own pace. Many adults find Kung Fu classes to be an excellent way to improve their overall wellness, confidence, and learn new techniques to defend themselves. Your health and safety are our priority, and we encourage you to listen to your body and communicate with your instructors.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting athletic wear (like a t-shirt and track pants or shorts) that allows for a full range of motion. You'll be training barefoot in the practice area. Uniforms are necessary for grading. You can purchase a uniform at the school.
How long does it take to learn?
Learning traditional Kung Fu is a lifelong journey of continuous improvement and discovery, not a race. You'll start developing foundational skills and understanding basic principles from your very first class. True mastery takes dedication and consistent practice. We focus on providing a structured curriculum that allows you to progress at a comfortable pace. The true "learning" is in the process itself – the discipline, mental clarity, and physical transformation you'll experience along the way.
We focus on:
Increased Physical Fitness (Strength, Flexibility, Stamina)
Enhanced Mental Focus & Discipline
Stress Reduction & Inner Peace
Practical Self-Defense Skills
Boosted Confidence & Self-Esteem
A Supportive Community & Expert Guidance
All of these are essential for the environment required to thrive.
